GENERAL SUPERENTENDENT
—VACANT! —

MASTER MECHANIC
—VACANT!—

PUBLIC RELATIONS
—VACANT!—

WAYS & MEANS CHAIRMAN
—VACANT!—

PSRMA is in a desperate situation, and your help is needed. Look at the list of Department Heads above....and notice in particular the last four. The positions of Public Relations Director and Chairman of the Ways Means Committee have been vacant for a couple of months now. The recent resignation of Bob DiGiorgio as General Superintendent and Master Mechanic has created two more critical gaps within our leadership. Bob is leaving the country with a new job and has resigned his two Departmental positions, but will remain on the Board of Directors through the end of the year and a new member to be elected at the October General Election will replace him then.

But the four Departmental vacancies remain. This is your opportunity to step in and actively participate in the operation of your Museum.

President "Chop" Kerr has outlined the duties of the four postions in his monthly column elsewhere. We do not expect a fomer chief railroad mechanic, or the head of the public relations department of a multi-million dollar corporation, to step forward to accept these openings. All we are locking for is a dedecated member who has an interest and, even just a smattering of, skill within one of these four fields.

These four depertments are also understaffed shamefully. The Publicity and Ways & Means have been handled by other staff members in addition to their regular duties, and Bob has been handling his two departments practically single handedly. So if you don't want to take the whole ball of wax in one of these areas, at least give Chop Kerr (291-4787) or Dave Parkinson (488-3673) a call and let them know you're willing to help out.

And if you really want to get involved, and take on a job that is going to require some real dedication, and not just a little responsibility on your part, give Chop or Dave a call.

There have been complaints in the past that PSRMA is run by a small group of the 100+ members, and this has been true to some extent. Perhaps a lack of communication has been a part of the problem. Put all agree this is certainly no way to run a railroad (museum). This is your opportunity to step foreward and let it be known you want to actively help out. Don't pass it up,

PSRMA does need your help!
